Target Audience

Those who will be carrying out lifting operations using onboard cranes and hoists within wind turbines onshore and offshore.

Prerequisites

Good general fitness is required

All participants will complete a pre-course medical questionnaire

Overview

GWO Crane & Hoist Basic User is a Global Wind Organisation (GWO) accredited qualification. This course is a key part of providing the necessary skills and knowledge to allow participants to safely use electric hoists and hydraulic loaders within onshore and offshore wind turbines.

At 360 Safety & Training our instructors have a wealth of experience in the wind industry and are experts in using lifting appliances found in the wind industry. All our training courses are delivered using the latest equipment which matches that which is found on site.
