Inauguration of SouthKyle Wind Farm

Honoured to be invited by Vattenfall to the inauguration of SouthKyle Wind Farm between Dalmellington and Carsphairn.

Members of our team wrote letters of support for this wind farm back in 2013 and we are now one of several local companies to have benefitted from a total of £44 million of contracts awarded to local companies. As a result of works on this project and others like it, we have been able to increase our number of fulltime trainers in our Ayr training centre. 

Our work scope included providing Global Wind Organisation Training to many sub-contractor on site, product specific training and emergency procedure drills. 

The day was completed with a celebratory dinner held at Glasgow Science Centre with speeches from Vattenfall CEO Anna Borg and The Scottish Government Minister for Energy Gillian Martin MSP.
