Scottish Green Energy Awards 2024

360 Safety & Training have been nominated in the Scottish Green Energy Awards

We are delighted to announce that 360 Safety & Training were recently nominated in the Champion of Renewables category in the Scottish Green Energy Awards. 

The nomination recognises the work we have done promoting the wind industry as a potential career to 1000’s of individuals across Scotland. 

We have attended and organised numerous events including careers days, demonstration workshops, awareness presentations and open days. Some events were carried out in our training centres, others were on our client’s wind farms and some took advantage of community resources. Throughout the various projects we have worked alongside wind farm owners and developers, wind turbine manufacturers, charities and government organisations. 

The individuals we engaged with ranged from school age young people and college & university students, to new apprentices and those looking for a change in career. The feedback following the various events overwhelmingly shows that the vast majority of individuals who attended left each event knowing more about the wind industry and had a more positive view of the wind industry. 

Our goal through these events has been to promote the different career opportunities within the wind industry and create an awareness that there are so many different roles in our industry. 

Operations Director Fraser Queen commented, 'As a company, we are honoured and humbled to have been nominated for this award. These events have been great fun to be part of, but the most important part is engaging with people and teaching them about an industry they know little or nothing about.'

Winners from the 50 finalists over 14 categories will be announced at the Scottish Green Energy Awards, in Edinburgh on December 5th.
