No, all our blended learning courses are still available in a traditional setting as well.
Blended modules can be completed from 2 weeks before the practical training commences.
The online theory modules last approximately 2 hours per module.
No, we only offer blended learning on certain courses.
Blended learning reduces the time spent in the training centre and out of the workplace. If you require to stay in a hotel during the training, you may require fewer night’s accommodation. It also reduces the training cost.
Blended learning is where the participants receive the theory elements of the training are delivered online prior to the practical elements.
Online modules MUST be completed 2 working days prior to the practical training commencing. Failure to do so may result in you being unable to attend the practical training.
We do not operate a training calendar. Please contact us for availability and we will offer you the first available dates. We will aim to make our schedule fit yours rather than yours fitting ours.
We often have single spaces on courses and can take bookings up until the day before training commences (other than blended learning). Please follow our social media or contact us for last minute availability.
As far in advance as you like. The further in advance, the better our availability.
We encourage participants to use their own PPE during the practical training. This allows us to ensure your equipment is properly fitted to you. To use your PPE in the practical training you must provide a valid inspection certificate.
All our training standards are accredited to be delivered at our training centre or on site.
All PPE other than safety footwear will be provided.
Lunch is provided on all full day courses. We do not provide lunch on half day courses. However, if you attend 2 half day courses in the same day lunch will be provided.

Most of our courses start at 0900 but please check your joining instructions to confirm.
Most of our full day training courses finish between 1630 and 1700. Half day courses finish around 1230 and 1300. These timings can vary depending on class sizes.

You can renew your GWO qualifications 2 months prior your expiry date and your renewal will apply from the original expiry date.
No, unfortunately not. If your expiry date has passed you will need to sit the initial course again.
GWO safety and technical training standards are designed to provide participants with the skills to safely work in the onshore and offshore Wind Industry. These qualifications are internationally recognised and can be used across the world.

TICCCS is the Turbine Inspection Competency and Certification Scheme. The scheme is designed to increase the competence of technicians working in the renewables industry by providing courses which cover user, inspection, maintenance and installation of equipment found within wind turbines.
